Kirk Moore is the principal of Pauls Valley High School in Oklahoma. He is currently newsworthy for his heroic actions during a recent incident at the school. A 20-year-old former student, reportedly obsessed with the Columbine shooting, entered the school armed with two semi-automatic handguns. Surveillance video captured Moore charging at the intruder and disarming him. During the confrontation, Moore was shot in the leg. Despite his injury, his actions are credited with preventing a potential tragedy. In recognition of his bravery and selflessness, the students of Pauls Valley High School crowned him prom king at their recent prom.
