Mette Frederiksen

Mette Frederiksen, the leader of Denmark's Social Democratic Party, has secured a third consecutive term as Prime Minister after months of negotiations following inconclusive elections. She leads a centre-left minority government, which notably includes a majority of women in its cabinet, a first in Danish history. Frederiksen's premiership has been marked by political deadlock and ongoing discussions, including a crisis in ties with the US over the future of Greenland.
