Mette Frederiksen

Mette Frederiksen is the incumbent Prime Minister of Denmark and leader of the Social Democratic Party. Following inconclusive elections in March, she successfully negotiated to form a centre-left minority coalition government, securing her third consecutive term in office. This achievement came after months of political deadlock and negotiations involving multiple parties. Notably, her new cabinet is historic for including a majority of women. Frederiksen's premiership has also been marked by a crisis in ties with US President Donald Trump concerning the future of Greenland. She recently participated in a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and other Nordic and Baltic leaders regarding drone technology sharing.
