Michele Sensi-Contugi

Michele Sensi-Contugi, the director of Ecuador's national intelligence service, was among the seven people killed in a helicopter crash in a remote area of northern Kenya. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning at 9:13 am local time while the helicopter was en route from the Loisaba Conservancy. The crash claimed the lives of all on board, including five American citizens and an NBCUniversal journalist. Sensi-Contugi's death is significant as he held a high-ranking position within Ecuador's intelligence apparatus. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by local authorities.
