Mike Bouchard is the Oakland County Sheriff in Michigan. He is currently newsworthy due to his role in the response to an incident at Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. According to reports, a suspect rammed a vehicle into the synagogue, causing damage and prompting an active shooter situation response. Sheriff Bouchard informed reporters that the suspect died after the incident. The suspect drove through the doors and down a hallway before the vehicle caught fire. A security guard was also injured.
