Nasry Asfura

Nasry Asfura is a conservative politician from the National Party in Honduras. He is the former mayor of Tegucigalpa. Asfura gained international attention as the winner of the November 2025 Honduran presidential election, a result heavily disputed by his rival, Salvador Nasralla, and marred by allegations of fraud and irregularities. The election was further complicated by claims of interference from then-US President Donald Trump, who endorsed Asfura. The vote count experienced delays and pauses, fueling further suspicion.
