Paul Poirier

Paul Poirier is a Canadian ice dancer. He is newsworthy because he and his partner, Piper Gilles, recently competed at the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague in March 2026. The pair finished second, taking the silver medal. They were significantly behind the French team of Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron, who won gold. At the Championships, Poirier and Gilles were in second place after the short program (rhythm dance), more than six points behind the leading French team.
