Shana

Shana is a grey cat who became newsworthy after being discovered inside a package at a logistics center in Lower Austria in April. Logistics center employees were surprised to find a moving package from which a cat suddenly emerged. Following a chase, the postal workers provided Shana with food and water before she was taken to an animal shelter. The incident led to the conviction of a 20-year-old man in Vienna, who was sentenced to six months probation for allegedly sending Shana via mail to Germany. The man denied the act.
