Steve Wright

Steve Wright is a 67-year-old serial killer currently serving a whole-life prison sentence for the murders of five women. He is newsworthy because he recently admitted to the 1999 kidnap and murder of 17-year-old Victoria Hall, a crime he had previously denied. This confession came more than 25 years after Hall's disappearance. In addition to admitting to Hall's murder, Wright also confessed to the attempted kidnap of Emily Doherty in 1999. As a result of these admissions, Wright has been sentenced to an additional 40 years in prison.
