Sundus al-Kurd

Sundus al-Kurd is a Palestinian mother from Gaza. She is newsworthy because she was recently reunited with her daughter, Bisan, after being separated for over two years. Bisan was one of several premature babies evacuated from Gaza to Egypt in the early weeks of the war, as Israeli forces approached the hospital neonatal unit where she was being cared for.
