Timmy

Timmy is a 12-tonne humpback whale that has been stranded off Germany's northern coast since March. The whale was first spotted in the Baltic Sea and has repeatedly become stranded and then freed. Recently, rescuers have planned to use air cushions to free Timmy, but experts have expressed concerns about the success of this attempt. Demonstrations by animal rights activists have also taken place near the whale's location, with some calling for its release into the wild. The German government has been exploring options for a rescue mission, including the use of a catamaran, but so far, no successful rescue has been achieved. Timmy's current condition and chances of survival remain uncertain.
