Tul Singh Gurung

Tul Singh Guru is an official who provided an update on a tragic avalanche incident at Nepal's Himlung mountain. The avalanche occurred early Sunday, sweeping through the base camp and burying tents under deep snow. As of Monday, Guru confirmed that two bodies had been found, and rescue efforts were ongoing for the 14 individuals who remained missing. The search for the missing people resumed after being hampered by severe weather conditions. Himlung Himal is a 7,126-meter peak located in north-central Nepal, near the Chinese border. This incident highlights the dangers of mountaineering in the region, especially during adverse weather, and Guru's statement is crucial for understanding the current status of the rescue operation and the scale of the tragedy.
