Xiao Xiao

Xiao Xiao is a male giant panda, one of a pair of twin pandas (along with his sister Lei Lei) who resided at the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, Japan. These pandas were significant as symbols of Sino-Japanese friendship, a tradition dating back to 1972 when China gifted pandas to Japan to mark the normalization of diplomatic relations.
