Yousef Hassan

Yousef Hassan is a Palestinian resident of the West Bank village of Qusra. He and his family became newsworthy due to a campaign of terror by Israeli settlers and soldiers aimed at seizing their property. On Sunday afternoon, a group of Israeli men, identified as settlers and soldiers, set up a tent outside Hassan's home, effectively besieging him, his wife, and their two young daughters. They have been trapped inside their home since the weekend. This incident is part of a broader pattern where Israeli troops have forced families from their homes in the West Bank, with soldiers also occupying other houses in Qusra for an operation. Despite a promise from a top Israeli commander to end the settler campaign, the siege on Hassan's family and the displacement of other families highlight ongoing tensions and actions impacting Palestinian residents in the region.
