Yulia Tymoshenko

Yulia Tymoshenko is a prominent Ukrainian opposition figure and former Prime Minister, having served in 2005 and from 2007 to 2010. She rose to international prominence during the Orange Revolution in 2004. Currently, Tymoshenko is newsworthy due to accusations of bribery and political clashes with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is investigating allegations that she orchestrated a scheme to bribe members of parliament, including those from Zelenskyy's own party, to weaken his government.
