Zulmi Aditya Iskandar

Zulmi Aditya Iskandar was an Indonesian peacekeeper serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). He was 33 years old at the time of his death. Iskandar, along with two other Indonesian peacekeepers, became newsworthy due to their deaths in southern Lebanon in late March 2024. The peacekeepers were killed in separate explosions amidst ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The bodies of Iskandar and his fellow fallen soldiers were repatriated to Indonesia, where they were laid to rest. The Indonesian government, through its Foreign Minister, has called for a thorough United Nations investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
