At least 20 killed in Colombia highway blast
A highway bombing in southwestern Colombia has killed at least 20 people, including 15 women and five men, with 36 others injured. The explosion occurred near a tunnel on the Pan-American Highway in the Cauca region. President Gustavo Petro has attributed the attack to a "narco-terrorist group" led by Nestor Vera, also known as Ivan Mordisco, a dissident former FARC fighter. This incident marks one of the deadliest attacks in Colombia since 2003. Mourners held a vigil for the victims, many of whom were from a nearby village, calling for an end to violence.
