This follows the release of a letter from Representative Jamie Raskin detailing evidence presented to the Department of Justice in January 2023, suggesting Trump held onto a sensitive record from his first term with limited access. The letter adds to the understanding of the investigation into Trump's retention of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. The White House spokeswoman dismissed Raskin's credibility and defended Trump against the allegations. The alleged map disclosure is the second known instance of Trump displaying a classified map, with a similar incident described in the indictment against him.
