Utah teen identified as victim of serial killer Ted Bundy
In 1974, 17-year-old Laura Ann Aime disappeared in Utah after leaving a party. Her body was found a month later in American Fork Canyon. The Utah County Sheriff's Office recently announced that DNA evidence has confirmed Ted Bundy as her killer, officially closing the 51-year-old cold case. Bundy, who confessed to the murder before his 1989 execution, was studying law in Salt Lake City at the time of Aime's death. Despite his confession, the case remained open until irrefutable DNA evidence linked him to the crime. Bundy murdered at least 30 women between 1974 and 1978 across multiple states, including Utah.
