Police investigate Iowa man suspected of killing 6 of his relatives and then himself
Authorities in Muscatine, Iowa, are investigating the deaths of six individuals who are believed to have been killed by Ryan Willis McFarland, 52, who then died by suicide when confronted by police. Police were initially called to a home where four people were found fatally shot. Officers later located McFarland on a trail and, during their interaction, he took his own life. Two additional male relatives of McFarland were subsequently found fatally shot at separate locations within the city. The victims' identities and further details have not yet been released. The Muscatine Police Department is continuing its investigation into the shootings.
