Israeli air strike kills at least 10 Palestinians near Gaza school
An Israeli air strike near a school housing displaced Palestinians in central Gaza's Maghazi refugee camp killed at least 10 people and wounded several others on Monday. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the casualties, stating that some injured were in critical condition. Witnesses reported that Israeli drones fired two missiles during clashes between Palestinians and an Israeli-backed militia, who allegedly attacked the school. The Israeli-backed militia claimed to have killed five Hamas members, a claim Al Jazeera could not independently verify. The Maghazi refugee camp, previously designated a "safe zone" by the Israeli military, has seen its population more than triple since the start of the war.
