Russia accuses Ukraine of violating U.S.-brokered three-day truce
Russia has accused Ukraine of violating a U.S.-brokered three-day truce that began on Saturday. Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed over 1,000 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces, including attacks on civilian targets and military positions. Ukraine, while not directly accusing Russia of violating the truce, reported casualties from Russian drone and artillery strikes. In the past 24 hours, one person was killed and three injured in Zaporizhzhia, and seven wounded in Kherson due to Russian attacks. Additionally, a Russian drone strike injured five people in Kharkiv. Moscow-installed officials in Kherson reported two injuries from Ukrainian shelling.
