Low-key funeral held for giant of the art world David Hockney

Renowned British artist David Hockney, 88, has had a private funeral held at his London home, as per his wishes. His partner, Jean-Pierre Goncalves de Lima, and great-nephew, Richard Hockney, were the only attendees. Hockney, known for his vibrant pop art, landscapes, and iPad portraits, passed away earlier this month. Memorial services are planned for next year in London, Los Angeles, Paris, and Yorkshire. The majority of his extensive body of work will be donated to foundations and public institutions globally to preserve his artistic legacy.
