Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover reveals Alzheimer’s diagnosis
Actor Danny Glover, 79, revealed in an interview on The Today Show that he has been living with Alzheimer's for several years. He received his diagnosis "not long" after being awarded an honorary Oscar in 2022. Glover stated that his movements, speech, and memory have slowed, but he feels his life continues and there is still work to do, crediting his family's support for helping him cope. His daughter, Mandisa, emphasized the importance of him speaking about his diagnosis on his own terms. Glover, known for his role in the "Lethal Weapon" films, has had a prolific career spanning over 170 film and TV credits and has also served as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme and Unicef.
