Russia and Ukraine trade attacks, killing 10, including child in Chernihiv
Russia and Ukraine have reported casualties from reciprocal attacks. Kyiv stated that Russian strikes killed six people, including a child at a supermarket in Chernihiv, and wounded 25 others. Ukrainian officials reported that Russia launched seven ballistic missiles and 136 drones overnight, hitting Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv. In the occupied city of Horlivka, Moscow claimed Ukrainian drone strikes killed four people. In Kharkiv, a daytime drone attack resulted in one death and 16 injuries. A glide bomb attack in Zaporizhzhia killed one person and injured six. Kyiv's mayor reported three wounded in the capital following a missile attack that caused a fire in an apartment block.
