Venezuela signs deal with US energy giant to rebuild power grid

Venezuela's interim president has signed an agreement with US energy giant General Electric (GE) to rebuild the country's electricity grid. Venezuela's power system, nationalized in 2007, is in urgent need of repair due to frequent and prolonged power outages affecting major cities. GE Vernova, the US company's local branch, will be involved in restoring this essential service.
