Israeli attacks wound eight in Lebanon despite Rome talks

Israeli airstrikes and shelling targeted towns in the southern Lebanese district of Tyre, wounding eight people in Burj Shemali, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. These attacks occurred as the seventh round of US-mediated ceasefire negotiations between Lebanon and Israel concluded. Earlier, a booby-trapped explosion in Majdal Zoun killed two Israeli soldiers and injured four during a search operation. The UN Interim Force in Lebanon reported a high number of Israeli projectiles fired into southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
