New Orleans police obtain new arrest warrant in Shia LaBeouf battery case
Shia LaBeouf is facing a new arrest warrant in New Orleans for simple battery, bringing the total number of alleged victims to three. The initial charges stemmed from an incident on February 17 at the R Bar, where LaBeouf allegedly shouted homophobic slurs and hit two people after being asked to leave. He was initially released on his own recognizance. On Thursday, LaBeouf appeared in court where a judge set a $100,000 bond, ordered drug testing, and substance abuse treatment due to concerns about his alcohol addiction. He posted bond after the hearing. The new warrant was issued on Friday, accusing LaBeouf of battering a third person during the same incident.
