Russian drone factory boss badly injured in car blast that kills driver
Vladimir Tkachuk, the director of the Uraldronzavod factory which supplies drones to the Russian military, was severely injured in a car explosion that killed his driver. The incident occurred late Tuesday in Bolshoy Istok, near Yekaterinburg. Tkachuk, who heads the factory producing Upyr drones, was hospitalized in grave condition. The Upyr drone is a first-person view drone praised by troops for its jamming resistance. Tkachuk, a supporter of Russia's actions in Ukraine, also runs a popular Telegram channel. A message on his channel stated he was in emergency care in stable condition following an attempt on his life. Authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
