Man shot dead by FBI after taking hostages at California bank
A man holding hostages inside a Chase Bank in Bakersfield, California, was shot and killed by the FBI on Wednesday during a standoff. The incident began Tuesday afternoon with a bomb threat, after which the suspect barricaded himself inside the building with several people. Two hostages were released on Tuesday, and the remaining hostages were released unharmed on Wednesday before the fatal shooting.
