Eurovision Song Contest 2027 to be held in Burgas, Bulgaria
The Eurovision Song Contest 2027 will be hosted in Burgas, Bulgaria, organizers have confirmed. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Bulgarian National Television (BNT) announced that the seaside city on the Black Sea will host the competition from May 12-15. This decision follows Bulgarian singer Dara's victory in this year's contest in Vienna, Austria, marking Bulgaria's first win. Eurovision Song Contest director Martin Green expressed delight with the choice, highlighting Burgas's vibrant culture and infrastructure. The event, including rehearsals, semi-finals, and the grand final, will take place at the Arena Burgas, a new sports and entertainment venue. Organizers aim to create a celebration that is both "truly Bulgarian" and "unmistakably Eurovision."
