Zuckerberg’s yacht crew did not hear call for help, says spokesperson
A skiff off the coast of Alaska received assistance from a nearby cruise ship after Mark Zuckerberg's yacht, the Launchpad, did not respond to a United States Coast Guard call. The yacht's spokesperson stated that the crew did not hear the request in time, as it was made on a different radio channel than the one they were monitoring. By the time the yacht's crew reviewed the communication, the cruise ship Wilderness Legacy was already providing aid, towing the skiff for refueling. The Coast Guard had determined the skiff was not in distress, and all parties involved were reported safe. Zuckerberg was not on board the yacht at the time of the incident.
