Which world leaders are visiting Qatar to pay their condolences?
Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who ruled Qatar from 1995 to 2013 and died at 74, is being mourned by world leaders. His son, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has been receiving condolences at Lusail Palace since Monday. Dignitaries from across the Middle East and North Africa, including leaders from Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Morocco, and Libya, have paid their respects. European leaders from Italy and Switzerland, along with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, have also visited. African leaders from Mauritania, Comoros, and Rwanda, as well as Ethiopia's Prime Minister, have offered condolences, with India's minister of parliamentary affairs expected to visit.
