James Harden has agreed to a three-year, $97 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to his agents. This deal includes a player option for the 2028-29 season and a trade kicker. Harden, who will soon turn 37, previously declined a $42.3 million player option to pursue a multi-year agreement. The Cavaliers acquired Harden from the Los Angeles Clippers at the February trade deadline. During his 26 regular-season games with Cleveland, Harden averaged 20.5 points and 7.7 assists.
