Russian attacks on Ukraine kill 2 people a day after deadly shopping mall drone strike
Russian drone and missile strikes killed at least two people overnight in Ukraine, a day after a drone attack on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih killed 16. In Kyiv, ballistic missiles hit railway infrastructure, killing one person and wounding another. Russian forces also struck a locomotive depot in the capital. In the Zaporizhzhia region, drone strikes killed one person in a village, and an attack on a minibus wounded three. These attacks follow a deadly strike on a Kryvyi Rih shopping center where 16 people died and 130 were wounded. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is intensifying ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv, exploiting Ukraine's shortage of Patriot air defense interceptors. Meanwhile, Ukraine has conducted drone strikes on Russian oil facilities and warehouses.
