Australian golfer Jessica Bang, 18, has died in Thailand after suffering a brain haemorrhage. Bang collapsed on August 1 while preparing for a tournament in Bangkok and underwent emergency brain surgery. She did not recover and passed away on Thursday. Earlier this year, Bang achieved her first professional victory in only her fifth professional start. She had turned professional at the end of 2025 after a successful amateur career and was in Thailand for the International Qualifying Tournament for the Korean women’s professional tour. Her family and tour officials expressed deep sadness at her passing.
