Brazil bus crash kills at least 23 and injures five in Parana state
A head-on collision between a bus carrying patients and healthcare workers and a truck on the BR-373 highway in Parana state, Brazil, resulted in at least 23 fatalities and five injuries. The accident occurred early Wednesday morning near Ipiranga. The bus, belonging to the Imbituva municipal health department, was en route to hospitals in Curitiba. Preliminary evidence suggests the truck veered into the opposite lane, causing the crash. The truck driver was among the deceased.
