Vietnam’s VinSpace announces deal with SpaceX to launch first satellite
Hanoi-based aerospace firm VinSpace has announced a partnership with Elon Musk's SpaceX to launch its first satellites. The company plans to utilize SpaceX's Transporter ride-share program for satellite deployment in the second quarter of 2027. This collaboration will enable VinSpace to test its domestically developed satellite technology in orbit, foster international cooperation, and advance the commercialization of space technology. VinSpace will be responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, and operation of the satellites post-launch. This agreement is a significant step in VinSpace's strategy to contribute to Vietnam's commercial aerospace ecosystem and integrate with the global space value chain. The announcement follows VinSpace's earlier commitment to launching its first satellites in 2027.
