China’s Xi Jinping expected to visit India after 7 years. What’s on the agenda?

Chinese President Xi Jinping will undertake a trip from August 30 to September 3, beginning with a state visit to Kyrgyzstan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Bishkek. During the summit, Xi will engage in discussions with leaders from member states, including Russia and Iran, focusing on deepening cooperation and addressing international and regional issues. He will also hold bilateral talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. Following his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Xi will travel to Egypt for his first state visit to the country in a decade. In Egypt, he is scheduled to meet with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to discuss contributions to regional peace and stability. This trip marks Xi's second overseas visit this year.
