Australian killer's final police interview footage released

Northern Territory police have released bodycam footage of a final interview with Bradley Murdoch, the convicted killer of British backpacker Peter Falconio. Falconio was murdered in July 2001 on a remote highway in the Northern Territory. Murdoch, who died in jail last year from throat cancer, maintained his innocence regarding the location of Falconio's remains throughout his life and in this interview. The footage was released by police ahead of the 25th anniversary of Falconio's disappearance, with the force stating their ongoing commitment to concluding the investigation. In the interview, a police officer appealed to Murdoch's empathy, but Murdoch repeatedly denied any knowledge of Falconio's whereabouts, stating he had said the same for 22 years.
