Commemoration held for late Serb war criminal Ratko Mladic
A commemoration was held in Belgrade on Saturday for Ratko Mladic, who died last week while serving a life sentence for war crimes committed during the Bosnian War. His body was returned to Serbia on a government plane on Thursday and received military honors. The commemoration, attended by dozens of former military staff, family members, and officials including the Serbian Justice Minister and the President of Republika Srpska, was organized by an association of retired and active Serbian army generals. Mladic, 84, is scheduled to be buried in Belgrade on Monday.
