Formula One champion Lando Norris extends McLaren contract until 2030
Lando Norris has signed a contract extension with McLaren that will keep him with the Formula 1 team until at least 2030, with an option for further years. This commitment follows Norris delivering McLaren's first drivers' title since 2008 last season. Norris, who joined McLaren's junior program at 17, stated his goal was to return McLaren to the front and win championships, which he believes the team is capable of continuing to do. He is currently fourth in this year's championship standings. His teammate, Oscar Piastri, also has a contract extension believed to run until at least 2028.
