Good Good to no longer be title sponsor of PGA Tour event and loses Callaway sponsorship
Good Good Golf has lost its title sponsorship of a PGA Tour event and its partnership with Callaway following controversy over a promotional video. The video, intended as a movie spinoff, depicted a man shoving a woman to the ground as she reached for a golf club. This incident led to immediate criticism and mounting pressure on Good Good and Callaway. Consequently, Callaway ended its three-year sponsorship, and the PGA Tour confirmed Good Good would no longer be the title sponsor of the November tournament in Austin, Texas. Other partners, including Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Channel, also distanced themselves from Good Good. Both Good Good and Callaway have issued apologies, with Callaway also committing $1 million to organizations preventing violence against women.
