Former radio broadcaster Alan Jones, 85, is on trial in Sydney facing 22 charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty. On the second day of the trial, evidence was presented regarding alleged indecent assaults against a complainant identified as J. The court heard that Jones first met J when he was 14 and a school athlete. J testified that Jones provided him with weekly cash deposits and allegedly kissed him in a hotel room in Canberra, subsequently increasing the payments. J also alleged that Jones grabbed his penis over and under his pants while driving to his farm. J stated he did not report the incidents due to fear of losing his privileged circumstances.
