Turkiye launches search for cargo ship after vessels collide off Istanbul

Turkish authorities have launched a search and rescue operation after two commercial vessels collided in the Sea of Marmara, approximately 20 miles south of Istanbul's Silivri suburb. The collision occurred at 3 am on Wednesday. Contact was lost with the crew of one of the Turkish-flagged vessels, the Tugberk Imamoglu, which has 10 crew members.
