Roommate charged with murder of 2 Bangladeshi PhD students in US
Hisham Abugharbieh, a former University of South Florida student, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his roommates, Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy, both Bangladeshi PhD students. Limon's remains were discovered on the Howard Frankland bridge on Friday morning, while Bristy remains missing. Abugharbieh, 26, made his initial court appearance on Saturday in Tampa and is being held without bond. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearances and subsequent deaths, which occurred earlier this month. A court hearing is scheduled for April 28.
