Starship V3

SpaceX has recently launched its Starship V3 rocket, described as the most powerful launch system ever developed. This uncrewed test flight marked the debut of the V3 after testing delays. While the launch was successful, the rocket experienced a planned "fiery explosion" upon splashdown in the Indian Ocean. During its suborbital cruise, Starship V3 successfully deployed a payload of 20 mock Starlink satellites and two data-sending satellites that scanned its heat shield. Although the rocket did not achieve nominal orbital insertion, the mission is seen as a significant step towards future lunar and Martian missions. SpaceX anticipates Starship V3 will carry a 100-metric-ton payload, with future iterations designed to double this capacity.
