Russian general shot several times in Moscow

Russian authorities have opened a criminal investigation for attempted murder and are searching for the gunman, reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses. The Kremlin stated that President Putin is being briefed on the situation, and they hope for Alexeyev's recovery. This attack follows other recent incidents targeting Russian military figures, including the killing of another general in January.
