Indonesian police in the market for hi-tech Chinese equipment

Indonesia's National Police are exploring the acquisition of advanced policing equipment from China. At a trade show in Beijing, Indonesian officials presented a list of desired technologies, including drones and tactical armored vehicles. Their primary focus is on counterterrorism equipment, such as intelligence technology, tactical weapons, bomb disposal gear, and specialized vehicles. This equipment is intended to bolster the capabilities of the Anti Terror Special Detachment 88 and the Mobile Brigade Corps, which are involved in combating terrorism, separatists, and insurgents. The requirements were detailed at a forum held during the expo.
