The Indonesian National Police (INP) is the national law enforcement agency of Indonesia. This includes a focus on counterterrorism equipment, intelligence technology, tactical weapons, bomb disposal gear, and specialized vehicles, as evidenced by their attendance at a police equipment trade show in Beijing. This modernization effort highlights the INP's commitment to addressing evolving security threats. In parallel, the INP has demonstrated its active role in combating illegal activities, recently conducting a large-scale crackdown on an online gambling operation in Jakarta. This operation resulted in the arrest of 321 foreign nationals, primarily from Vietnam, who were allegedly involved in illegal digital betting networks. These recent developments underscore the INP's dual focus on technological advancement for security and robust enforcement against criminal enterprises, making them a key player in maintaining national stability and public order.
