Top operative of China-born tycoon Chen Zhi extradited from Cambodia

Liu Ren, a key operative in a criminal organization led by Chinese tycoon Chen Zhi, has been extradited from Cambodia to China. Chinese police escorted Liu back to China recently, according to a statement from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security's criminal investigation department. Chen Zhi, who was extradited to China earlier this year and faces transnational fraud accusations from both Beijing and Washington, reportedly instructed Liu in 2016 to establish a group named Jinbei. This group operated online gambling platforms and actively recruited Chinese citizens to gamble.
